Several javascript issues of have surfaced recently that appear to be related to Internet Explorer (IE) automatic updates. For some unknown reason hyperlinks become invisible and javascript errors appear in the Legend \ Layers frame. Ideally these map viewers should should work equally well in IE as they do on Firefox browsers. And they did at one point in time. However, for whatever reason the underlying code of IE appears to change from time to time as a result of Microsoft's automatic updates. Firefox has remained stable for some time. The Data Integration Project does not have the resources to constantly monitor IE changes and manually recode accordingly. For this reason it is strongly suggested that users of this site use Firefox to maximize functionality and minimize aggravation. It is free, maintained by the Open-Source community and is part of the testing environment of this project. You can link to the Firefox download site by clicking on the image below.
