Western Colorado Data Integration Group:

SWDC is working with Surveyors and Public GIS professionals on several data-sharing pilot projects. Through the cadastral project, SWDC and Fairview are developing tools for creating a surveyor-maintained survey points database. This data will then be used to construct more accurate GCDB parcels and GIS layers. Currently Delta and San Miguel counties are participating in the cadastral pilot project. SWDC is also hosting quarterly meetings for our members, where real data-sharing issues are discussed and implemented. Future topics include: share-codes, data publishing, and map-books.
